A wedding is about vows of love and spending a lifetime together, the happiness on everyone’s face, uniting families, and having all the special people in your life besides you to wish just the best for you. It is a day with many memories in the making that you will never want to forget. Let’s dive right into Nishant and Sumati’s story.

They first met in February of 2012 when Sumati had moved to Mumbai to pursue a college internship at Architect Hafeez Contractor. In an office with over 650 employees, destiny clicked, and they both were assigned the same project to work on, and that’s how the story began.

While on a trip to Neemrana Fort Palace, Jaipur, Nishant went down on his knees and popped the question along with a beautiful ring. That memory held such a special place in their hearts that they also tied their knot in the same place.

Since Nishant is from Jaipur and Sumati is from Kashmir, they decided to keep the theme of their wedding decor to be a blend of both states.

The colours and culture of Rajasthan inspired the decor for various pre-wedding functions. For the wedding, they went with colours like peach and pink, which resembles the lotus flowers found in the lakes of Kashmir.
